Save Pushing Daisies!
November 12, 2008 on 1:50 am | In News, Random | 1 CommentIf you haven’t yet heard, the amazing TV show on ABC, Pushing Daisies, is in danger of being cancelled.

The show is going up for renewel, but ABC hasn’t renewed it yet. There have been rumors that the season may end at only 13 episodes and then be picked back up again for a third season.
Right now, ABC has aired six episodes, so we are only about halfway done. But don’t let the show die! Sign this petition, which currently has over 32,000 signatures!
Check out a few of these websites dedicated to saving this show…

We have to save this great TV show!
“Yes, we can.” And we did.
November 6, 2008 on 1:14 am | In News, Random | No CommentsWell, I was never a proponent for either candidate really, but I am kind of glad Obama won. History in the making, huh?
So I thought I’d share some cool t-shirts and stuff that are all pro-Obama.
And this one is on sale. Only $10. For a limited time only!

So get your Obama tees. And stuff.
Btw. Twilight has been searched 42,800 times on CafePress today. And McCain? Only 8,948 times today. Hahaha. And I’m not just laughing at him. It’s just funny on the internet world: fandom >>>>>> politics, hm?
Paramore’s Twilight-Inspired Music Video for “Decode”!
November 4, 2008 on 6:36 pm | In Random, movies, twilight | No CommentsYes, it’s here! The song was released a while ago, but the music video is here–WITH TWILIGHT CLIPS!
I know, I’m hyperventilating like a crazy Twilight fan. It’s because I am!
So here’s the video. If you can’t see it, it’s because you probably don’t live in the U.S., or some computer-related problem with watching videos. So I have the link for those of you who don’t live in the states to watch it elsewhere!
Check out the video outside of the U.S. here.
So, who’s planning on going to see Twilight at midnight? What are you wearing? Drop a comment! I ♥ comments!
Swimming with Polar Bears?! Sweet!
October 1, 2008 on 1:40 am | In Random, polar bears, shop | No CommentsSo, I was in the middle of writing my essay for Lit when I came across this amazing lens on Squidoo. I’m a huge fan of Polar Bears, but since I’m writing my essay (*cough cough*), I just skimmed across it and found this link to a Polar Bear News blog.
Swimming with the polar bears.
I know. My enthusiasm is too huge to contain. I love polar bears (explains my “Love Polar Bears T-Shirt”, does it not?). I don’t know why I’ve been thinking about polar bears so much lately, but it could be because I sold a “Love Polar Bears” tee the other day. We haven’t sold a lot of those (sad!), but it just got me thinking. So now I have to add in Ontario, Canada to my list of places to go to in the next few years. Not that I have any money to get to those places, but we’ll see.
Meanwhile, check out the Polar Bear tees, and maybe buy one? 20% of the funds go to PBI (Polar Bears International), so it would go to a good cause! And even if you’re like me, and have no money (or are just a fan of the Panda), send it to your friends. We’ve got to protect these amazing creatures!!!!
Also, go check out our School Guide for what to buy this school year, before it’s gone! Tomorrow, this poor thing will be out of existence (for the next year), and you won’t see it again until August! So check it.
PS: I guess if I’m going to talk about Polar Bears so much, I might as well make a category for it. Which I did.
River Tam can beat up your mom…
September 30, 2008 on 3:40 am | In Random, shop | No CommentsDuh, it’s true. So, I was looking at this comic on xkcd.com, seen below, and I was inspired. Firefly is one of my favorite shows ever, and because I’m on a Squidoo spree, I made a Squidoo page. Oh yes.
First, here’s the comic.

It’s awesome, is it not?
And so, “River Tam Fan Page for Firefly and Serenity“: AKA River Tam is Superfly. ‘Cause everyone knows that River Tam can beat up everyone. So check it out guys. And also our latest Firefly design. We’ll be adding tons more Firefly/Serenity tees soon, so keep watching. For now, a little design inspired by that crazy old River.
Dead Like Me on DVD in 2009!
September 8, 2008 on 11:30 pm | In Random | No CommentsOh yes, the amazing tv show created by Bryan Fuller, Dead Like Me, is becoming a movie! Going straight to DVD, the movie is anticipated by all the fans that loved this great show!
Dead Like Me had two seasons of 14 and 15 respective episodes each. It was created by Bryan Fuller, who also made Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls!

The movie is going to be a little different though. Rube is now gone, passed on to his lights, and a new, business-type man comes in to take Rube’s place. He doesn’t care about the dead, or how the reapers do their jobs. And the rest of the reapers…are not happy. Also, Laura Harris, the original Daisy, is not playing Daisy any longer! In my opinion, the new Daisy is much more dumbed down, and more shallow. You can see the summary and trailer at the DLM website!
So I decided to surf CafePress and find some of my favorite DLM t-shirts! So here they are, check them out!
Cool Tees
August 29, 2008 on 1:17 am | In Random | No CommentsNow, I know I talk all the time about the t-shirts I sell at ShopFunkHouse.com….but how about a change of views, hmm?
This totally awesome t-shirt I wore at school today:
From Poptastic Tees. I got tons of awesome comments on my t-shirt, so I love it. Plus, even though I got a “Men’s” shirt (they didn’t have the color I wanted in women’s), it’s so comfortable and fitted me decently. I just rolled up the sleeves.
Second, my critics shirt from Detour Designables:
Perfect for when you’re feeling good about yourself.
And lastly, are you a nerd?
This awesome t-shirt shows your nerdy side! You can get it from the awesome KA Designs!
Well, more fun stuff tomorrow. And maybe skateboards. MAYBE…because I haven’t seen a skateboard in a while and I want to make some designs before I post, obviously. And a Twilight skateboard, how AWESOME would that be!?
Holy Snapple!
August 27, 2008 on 11:20 pm | In Random | No CommentsI forgot to blog yesterday! Scary! I just got caught up in going on a hunt for a new phone (which I didn’t get) and grocery shopping (spent too much) and some CafePress designs (didn’t get much done). My dog is driving me insane as well. She barks so loud I can’t hear my self think. I feel like I have to use a megaphone to get some attention here.

See? It’s bad. I even got to class late today, because I had to print out my resume really quick before hand. And I got up late. Because my dog was barking like crazy. Get the picture?
Anywho, I’ll have something actually interesting (maybe) to blog about tomorrow, because Zazzle has Skateboards!!!! So for today, it’ll just be the excuses. Whoop, sorry.
PS: We have a MySpace page. Go add us. Now now now!!!
PSS: Check out Tuesday Teez for awesome tees! THE LAST ONE IS OURS, YES YES.
Improv Everywhere
August 19, 2008 on 12:53 am | In Random | No Comments
If you were walking down Grand Central Station and suddenly hundreds of people froze in place, what would you do? What if you were eating lunch in a mall in LA, and suddenly a dozen people break into song and start dancing around the food court? How often do you pay attention to the world around you, instead of focusing on you, and where you have to get to. Improv Everywhere: They cause scenes!
So, while surfing the net, I came upon Improv Everywhere, a huge group of people that love to “cause scenes of good-natured chaos”. Stationed in New York, Improv Everywhere has been around for 7 years now! How surprising it took me so long to find them! If you want to head on over to their site, go here!
From the human mirror on a subway, to dancing in the windows of department stores, to the mp3 experiment, Improv Everywhere somehow manages to turn pranks into art. I absolutely love how they make people stop and notice the world around them, instead of ignoring everyone. I mean, who could ignore some dudes giving out free money on the subway? Not me!
So check them out, and see all of their pranks, or art if you’d like to call it! I know next time I’m in New York, I’ll try to join these guys for something!
